For the first time in the history of mankind, humans are being exposed to “daylight levels” of illumination. Initial data points to potential disruptions in circadian rhythms, but we do not know how the way we live might be affecting our health and well-being.
Sanjit Bahra, Director and Founder of DesignPlusLight, with a background in medicine, fuses his interest in health with his love of interior design and the built environment. Sanjit will be exploring how both economic and environmental factors will impact on future living and how we can design the built environment to improve wellbeing.

The PechaKucha concept: each speaker has 400 seconds - 6 minutes 40 sec. - for a presentation in 20 images. Each image is on screen for only 20 seconds. No more, no less.
The PechaKucha format is devised and shared by Klein Dytham Architecture: the first PK took place in 2003 in Tokyo and today more than 1000 cities have PechaKucha Nights. The Brussels edition was launched by Alok b. Nandi in Brussels in 2007.
