With a background in fine art, working at Sotheby’s and running an art gallery in Duke Street St. James’s, Fleur has been a pioneer in creating high-end interior design exhibitions. At each of her seven previous exhibitions: ‘The British Interior Design Exhibition’; ‘Interiors by Couturiers’ and ‘Fine Art Interiors’ held in London, Fleur introduced fine art to be shown off by leading interior designers with specialist joinery, soft furnishings and fabrics. Fleur is also a practicing interior designer and recently completed Hambleden Manor previously designed by John Fowler.
Fleur looks forward to welcoming visitors at the International Interior Design Exhibition 2018 – Brussels to enjoy the creative excellence in interior design and gain inspirational ideas. The exhibiting interior designers will be present to discuss your particular project. The exhibition will include fine art within complete rooms with a touch of surrealism incorporating fashion, food and music as part of an uplifting lifestyle experience.
This will be Fleur’s eighth innovative interior design exhibition. Previously held in London, the exhibition will be staged in Brussels for the first time in March 2018. The exhibition is aimed to give inspiration and ideas as well as providing the opportunity to engage with leading international interior designers and associated art galleries, where interior designers will be pleased to create bespoke interior design for new projects. All artworks and furnishings included within their interior compositions will be for sale and to order.

Standing Concept is a specialist design and build exhibition building company for major fairs around the world.
To the organisers brief, for The International Interior Design Exhibition, we have designed the layout of rooms to create interesting spaces enfilade within the interior of Hotel de la Poste at Tour and Taxis in Brussels. Our construction team will be responsible for building the room structures from scratch and decorated by the interior designers to give the illusion of real rooms.
Protecting the floor of the fabric of the building, we will lay a wooden floor in water-resistant MDF allowing the designers the ability to install any floor they require. Some rooms are up to 63 square meters, which we will build to be firm so that heavy paintings can be hung and light fittings installed. Designers are already producing intricate lighting plans for us to accommodate the required power, utilizing solid ceilings with the ability to hang chandeliers. After we have painted the room concealing joints with plasterwork, it will be up to the designers to create beautiful interior designed rooms for visitors to enjoy.
We are delighted to have been selected to undertake the building of this prestigious exhibition working with so many professionals and wish the event every success.
